I have a Mazda Premacy 2.0 Gsi Manual - the hazard lights do not work

I have changed the fuse in the engine compartment but to no avail.

Yes all of the bulbs work ok. Does anyone know if the switch can be pulled out easily or does it need the central console taking out first ?
