LS 1500

This power plant is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and drivers can expect mixed-driving mileage averages in the low teens with 4WD.

The LS is the entry-level trim in the Suburban lineup, but Chevy offers most of the essential features as standard equipment here: full power accessories, a six-way power driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, an MP3/CD player and a trip computer. The LS features a front split bench seat, but this arrangement is swapped for two bucket seats on the higher-level trims.

The LS's front bench is also swapped for two bucket seats divided by a center console. Power is supplied by the 5.3 liter V-8, which allows drivers to tow 8000 pounds.

LTZ 1500

The LTZ trim provides the Suburban with a sport-focused finish. LTZ 1500 4WD

LTZ is the Suburban's top trim level, and includes a sportier finish than the LS and LT styles.
