2004 Toyota ECHO

After receiving a makeover in 2003, the Toyota ECHO went into the 2004 model year seeing no significant changes.

The 2004 Toyota ECHO came in two body styles, a two door and a four door. Both shared a 108-horsepower 1.5-liter engine. It came standard with a five-speed manual transmission, and a four-speed automatic was an available option. Fuel economy was excellent, about 31/38 mpg.

Drivers of the 2004 Toyota ECHO love it for its deceptively room interior, excellent gas mileage, and low cost. ECHO fans do not mind that the car comes standard with very few features, as they are simple looking for basic transportation. Some 2004 ECHO drivers complain that the back seat is too small, the ride is noisy and bumpy at high speeds, and the interior looks and feels cheap.
