Alfa 147 - A Definite Yes — Best car i have had, handles like a dream, looks are amazing and is really well built especially on the inside where you can really tell its class. My 2 litre version really guzzles the juice but it is worth it. One downside is definitely the maintenance, parts are still quite expensive considering they are more widely available, example - £300 for a whole new windscreen wiper kit! All in all great car |

A Truly Reliable Car Over The Past Years — Despite the many negative talk about Alfa Romeo and especially about this model I have been satisfied with mine since the beginning. The performance of the Diesel engine with 115 hp is nothing spectacular but it takes you where you want to go for a reasonable cost schedule Primary Use: Commuting to work |

You Should Drive An Alfa , And You'll Understand Me :) — The car is very good in every performace point...the fun factor is big...untill yet haven't need any repairs...the styling is on a high lve...the cost of ownership wasn't big...at the end , IT'S AN ALFA ROMEO 147 :) Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Stylish, But Expensive — good performance - 150 HP, Build quality - poor, appearance- verry good even interior and exterior, weak suspension, you have to repair every 2-3 months, engine is problematic, 1000 km - 1,5 l of oil usage, it's my wife's car, but we need a little bigger Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Costs: Not as much as I expected Fun Factor: Alfa Romeo, always a fun car to drive.. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Changing Parts, Keeping Young — Precise steering & brakes, great interior, fun to drive hard - a little unpredictable :-) not suitable for our broken roads (what is??!) and expensive to run. very gadgety and hi tech, most modern cars still lack its electronics. great non-carb engine roar tho a turbocharger would be a nice addition! Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Alfa 147 — Like all Alfa's as soon as you've fixed one thing something else breaks, for a relatively new car its an absolute money pit. Oh and you have to change the timing belt every 3700 miles. and you have to check the oil every 2 weeks because the T Spark engine uses oil like there's no tomorrow. Like I say considering its a relatively new car (not a classic) its a pain in the arse. I wouldn't buy another Alfa but I don't regret owning this one. |
