1995 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Overview
Overall User Score
Based on 14 reviews
The 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 introduced another option to all of their models: the Club Cab, an extended cab that allows for seating 6 instead of just 3. Conveniently, the backseat folds up for more storage space if necessary. Two changes were also made to the engines: the 3.9-liter V6 had a drop in horsepower to 170, while the 5.2-liter V8 managed to find 20 more hp. For safety's sake, driver's side airbags and rear-wheel anti-lock brakes come standard on all 1995 Dodge Ram 1500s; 4-wheel ABS are an available option.
The half ton 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 is a truck built for work, and has a lot of trim packages to choose from, whether you need a V8 or a V6, or an extended cab or bed. Gas mileage varies depending on what engine and transmission you get, from 15-17/19-21 mpg. Not great, but the 1995 Dodge Ram is a workhorse, and workhorses need to eat.
Or so say some owners when complaining about the gas mileage. Overall, the 1995 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 received excellent ratings from its drivers. As with the 1994, the transmission received most of the complaints from owners, but those were the overwhelming minority. The 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 is solid truck, and can hold its own in the field for work or play.
