That was an awesome comfortable car...would have done better with a more tight suspension..I replaced my 2 barrel carb with a 4 and it went like stink...huge seats....and the awesome hardtop look...miss that car still have the moon caps from itApr 02, 2010

This was actually a Stage One GS but the stupid program doesn't have it listed as a trim package. It had the big block 350 w/350hp. 3sp on the floor & i could damn near jack this suckr off the ground.
The PRINCE of muscle cars, i beat vettes, camaros and too many stangs to count. Whatta sleeper!! I'd give my right.. whatever to have this one back!!Sep 04, 2009

honestly me and my dad build this car and its amazing for performace it is pushing 400 horses. haha umm... gas and insurace is bad on the pocket.. but sooo fun for a weekend driver... and the best part is its mine!Aug 06, 2009

This car is currently being built by myself. My plans for this clar is to drag race it, but have it street legal (barely). I plan to put a twin turbo 350 buick engine in it. I plan to go very fast :D.May 13, 2009

My car is awesome it has a buick 350 small block with a 3 on the tree . for a muscle car it gets good gas mileage it gets 7 in town and it gets 5 on the highway. the car is fun to drive . the interior is black and it has one rip in the seat. Sep 08, 2008

This car is amazing, from its 600hp 455 bored +.038 to its perfect eye candy paint job. this car is a rare car to find, many are cloned like this one, but without looking at the vin numbers you would never be able to tell. The quarter mile time is 10.35 but with a few tweaks here and there it could see high 9's. Not bad for a heavy car that was made before most of us were born. The handling is exceptional to say the least, the best ride and handling of any of the A-Bodies produced. with comfort in mind no wonder it goes fast with class.Mar 24, 2008

This was my grandmothers car, she custom ordered it. I have the original purchase order, the original build sheet and all the paper work that came with it. It started out as a green paint job, but i have since had it custom painted!! THanks to RayRay and Mike!!! I can't wait for her to be on the road again!!!!Mar 18, 2008

Looking to install a car alarm on a 70’s Skylark. Any tips before I begin? Using a Viper alarm, which came with installation instructions in Spanish

1970 Skylark with auto trans selector on floor. Selector seems to be stuck in park. It oves easily and rotates sleeve on steering coljmn, but selector indicator on dash re,ains in park and car does not move. Pis this a mechanical connection problem, or worse?
uto transmission. floor selector works in all positns and rotates sleeve on steering column. Gear indicator in dash remains in park. Car starts and all, but does not respond to changes in drive selecor. Anybhelp or advide is greatly appreciated.

Why wont my 1970 skylark drive once put in gear?
My 70 buick skylark wont drive.. it starts good and idles sketchy.. once i put it into gear it moves but barely and as soon as i push the throttle it dies... in neutral it revs up but sputters and kicks out a lot of black smoke.. ive replaced the carburetor, most of the wiring, the starter, all its filters and fluids, checked the torque converter and trans, both seem ok, fuel pump is new. I dont know what else to do besides rebuild the engine and im trying to avoid that. Any ideas
