Awesome — Love hearing the 302 engine run and shifting the 4 speed tranny. Also the hugger orange with white stripes is great looking.Have a lot of fun bringing a old car back onto the road again.Enjoy the stories people tell me wherever I go with the car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Very Good Cars If U Take Care Of Them — proformance is very good if u keep good maintnence. does have alot of power and tourqe. the cost of owning a camaro around 150 to 180 for insurance. these cars are very fun to drive once u get used to the steering cuz it is touchy. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsVery loud Consbad on gas

Very Fun — It has 430HP and it climbs past 560 at over 5k rpm. It runs on High Octane fuel which is 5-6dollars a gallon. This car is very quick and fun to drive on the street, and a drag strip. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsVery fun to drive and preforms wonderfully ConsMaintenance costs and mileage could be better.

It's Amazing. — Since I got the carburetor replaced this car runs like a dream. It accelerates at a pretty good rate but i havent gotten a chance to time it yet. The brakes are a little tough but it balances out with the fact that this car handles better than my dads BMW 330i. Its solidly built with only a few squeaks and rattles. The exterior is in fairly good condition but it could use a new paint job and the interior has been totally redone (dash, ceiling, carpet) with the exception of the seats which could use some touching up. The gas mileage isnt great but what do you expect from a '69? Maintenance ran a little high for a while but once the carburetor got replaced it has dropped considerably. This car is beyond fun to drive, its not even describable.

Beautiful Lines Pure Muscle Babe Magnet. — Owned 1 of these in the early eighties for about 2 years and loved it. Took it down to the Le Mans 24 hour race a couple of times and it got more interest in the car park than the Ferraris and Astons etc. 350 SS convertable with 6.6 litre v8 with 4 straight through pipes and cherry bombs on the back end sounded fantastic. Got pulled regularly by the police but never got nicked! They just wanted to look and ask what was under the bonnet. I traded it in for a Trans-Am which I also loved but wish I'd had the foresight to hold on to it and mothball it as they are worth about £25,000 in concours condition now (I paid £1,250 for mine)

ProsBuilt as street legal race car Consfuel mileage not good!

Looks Fast Even When Parked — I went thru an ugly divorce and lost all interest in finishing it. It only needs fiberglass front end bolted together, seats and a Ford to Chevy driveshaft to complete. I have over $7000 of brand new after market high performance parts. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsIts Fast Consyou pretty much have to stop to take a corner

Any Quessions — Ok this is defiantly one of the fastest cars on the street in a straight line, does not corner at all!!!It was built with no expense spared and just looks bad ass!! The gas mileage is 1km to 1 liter of fuel if you are no on the throttle. It is the most fun you can have in driving a car as far as i am censored. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Camaro 1969 Super Sport — This was my 1969 Camaro Super Sport 4 speed small block. Mild mods. I deleted the hockey stripe repainted Red. My son and I redid the houndstooth interior. Nice power to weight. Sharp Styling. Very reliable no issues. This year very distinctive. Squared wheel wells. I had the ice cube factory hood. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
