I contacted Seaview GMC regarding a pre-owned 2011 Jeep Wrangler that had been on the lot for an extended period. I was upfront about my credit situation and submitted a full credit application promptly when requested. After submitting the application, communication became inconsistent. I followed up multiple times but did not receive clear updates regarding lender submissions, approval status, or next steps. I was also asked to complete identity verification, which I did immediately, yet I still did not receive confirmation that my application had been fully reviewed or that the deal had been actively worked. I understand that not all applications result in approval and respect lender decisions. My concern is the lack of timely and transparent communication after providing all requested information. A clear yes or no, or a brief explanation that the vehicle was not financeable, would have been appreciated instead of extended silence. Clearer communication/follow through should improve
