Digital Key 2 Premium[1] eliminates the morning key hunt entirely. Available from SEL Convenience trim upward, this feature turns your compatible smartphone or smartwatch into your key. As you approach the PALISADE with arms full of school supplies and sports equipment, it unlocks automatically with a touch of the handle. Better yet, you can share digital keys with your partner, teenage drivers, or caregivers — no more coordinating physical key handoffs.
Adding multiple children and/or carpooling means potential for even more chaos. The PALISADE's standard one-touch walk-in feature transforms third-row access from a wrestling match to smooth operation. Press a single button on the second-row seat, and it slides forward automatically, creating a wide pathway to the third row.
Need to throw bags or sports gear in the back? Now standard on the SEL (coming late 2025) and higher trims, the power liftgate[2] with height adjustment opens to your preset height to help avoid garage ceiling scrapes. The system recognizes when you're standing behind the vehicle with the key fob and opens automatically after a few seconds — no awkward foot waving required.
School drop-off safety
The PALISADE’s Safe Exit Assist[3] helps address the risks of kids opening car doors into oncoming traffic. When the system detects approaching vehicles, it provides visual and audible warnings and can temporarily prevent the rear doors from opening. During hectic school drop-offs when children's excitement at seeing friends might override caution, this technology helps provide an extra set of eyes and intervenes as needed.
For parents of more reluctant school-goers, Advanced Rear Occupant Alert[4], available on SEL and above, uses ultrasonic sensors calibrated to help detect small children. Suppose movement is detected in the rear seats after you've locked the vehicle. In that case, the system can progress from dashboard warnings to horn honks to smartphone notifications through Bluelink[5] to let drivers know someone may still be in the vehicle.
Communication and comfort solutions
The PALISADE's standard Passenger Talk system allows front-seat passengers to easily talk to occupants even in the third row by using the vehicle's audio system to broadcast your voice clearly to rear passengers. No more twisted necks, repeated instructions or yelling, and no more wondering if everyone heard you about staying buckled up.
Rear Seat Quiet Mode, also standard across the lineup, addresses the opposite challenge. When younger children finally fall asleep, this feature mutes the second- and third-row speakers while maintaining front audio. Parents can continue with navigation prompts, phone calls, or quiet music without disturbing naptime.
Six USB-C ports distributed throughout the cabin put an end to arguments over who gets the charger. The Calligraphy trim's built-in front and rear Dash Cam system[6] eliminates the need for aftermarket Dash Cam devices cluttering the cabin. This factory-integrated solution can record continuously while driving and automatically save footage when impacts are detected. The system can store up to 20 hours of recordings and logs comprehensive data, including date and time.
When parked, motion detection can activate recording if someone approaches the vehicle — valuable protection in parking lots where door dings and scratches often go unwitnessed. Video segments can be reviewed directly on the PALISADE's 12.3-inch touchscreen or transferred via the MicroSD card located in the glovebox.
Remote Smart Parking Assist: Conquering tight spaces
Available on Calligraphy trim, Remote Smart Parking Assist[7] is a class-exclusive feature[8] that lets you move the PALISADE in and out of parking spaces while standing outside of the vehicle. Using the key fob, you control forward and backward movement to help you get in and out of tight spots.

Advanced Driver Assistance

The PALISADE’s available Advanced Rear Occupant Alert, Rear Seat Quiet Mode, Safe Exit Assist, and one-touch third-row access provide crucial safety and convenience for parents of young children.
The Dash Cam stores recordings on in-car memory cards. The system can record up to 20 hours of footage from both front and rear cameras.
Digital keys can be shared through the MyHyundai app with Bluelink with family members or caregivers who have compatible smartphones. You control access levels and can revoke keys when no longer needed.
