Performance - the engine is very popular for performance tuning, handling can be improved by adding strut braces. Build quality - In general, for a Brazilian model, is good. Fun factor - Great drive for what you pay for. Cost of ownership - Cheap for Latin America.

Performance, excellent good small city coupe, excellent acceleration foa 1.8 4v engine. good brakes, good handling Build quality, very delicate interiors, plastic panels break easily Appearance; nice car good drive cost, cheap, gas mileage excellent over 40 kms per gallon Fun to drive

the gol is a small car,it's my mother's car.performances are not good with 60hp,the fuel consumption is too high:7.0l/100km.the only good thing about it is the cost of ownership,and it's easy to park!so I rate four points.

Bad acceleration but an overall good suspension if you take in consideration the other cars from the same range, the transmission is quite precise although there is a considerable power gap between the 2nd and the 3rd gear. It has nice styling, awful service and it is sort of fun to drive if you haven't driven any proper car before. The interior is quite sturdy, the dashboard is actually quite good, great visibility and good colors. A/C is alright and for the range the build quality is good if you get the right trim.
