2003 Subaru Baja AWD Review
by Rob

Good, solid vehicle

Performance is nominal because of the four-cylinder engine but it's still deccent, the manual transmission helps some. Quality is great, the only maintenance was the recommended brake job around sixty-five thousand miles. Appearance is decent, it's no Lambo or anything like that, but it's unique. Interior is dated but not bad looking, all Baja's co...

Avg. Dealer Rating: (15 reviews) "Was quite an odd and inconvenient experience, first ever. In talking with them on the phone, they indicated no price had been assigned to the vehicle. I drove over 5 hours to see it and when I got there I was told that the car didn't check out on safety issues and was not for sale !! Quite strange !!!!!!!!!!! AND it took a day and a half out of my time plus expenses for gas and hotel room."

Avg. Dealer Rating: (20 reviews) "My sister and her fiancée ended up going to the dealership to see the vehicle for me, and once they arrived they were told the vehicle had in fact been in an accident during a test drive and went to the shop as there had been axle and body damage to the car. When I emailed the salesperson I'd been talking to, asking what had happened he told me that the car had simply been sent to the garage for some body work, no accident had occurred, and that the new work will end up raising the price of the vehicle. When I told him what the other people at the dealership had told my sister and her fiancée about the accident, he never responded. Clearly, no one was supposed to tell my sister what actually happened. Would not recommend"
