2003 Subaru Baja AWD Review
by Rob

Good, solid vehicle

Performance is nominal because of the four-cylinder engine but it's still deccent, the manual transmission helps some. Quality is great, the only maintenance was the recommended brake job around sixty-five thousand miles. Appearance is decent, it's no Lambo or anything like that, but it's unique. Interior is dated but not bad looking, all Baja's co...

Avg. Dealer Rating: (9 reviews) "Terrible. They gave me the wrong key, the key was cut right and everything and would turn the truck on, but the key and the fob was all one piece, and the key never went to that truck. And when I bought it the fob didn't work and they said "all you have to do is put a battery in it" simple enough right? Wrong. Since that key never went to the truck the truck didn't recognize the key after I put a battery and it locked my truck up in theft mode and I couldn't turn the truck on or anything. After paying nearly 300 dollars on towing and then another 115 to get the truck reprogrammed I contacted the dealer to see if they could help pay for some of it since I had literally just bought the truck two weeks ago and they said "well we had no way of knowing that the key never went to the truck" fair enough, but as a dealer don't you think you would have at least put a battery in the damn thing? Also when I first test drove the truck it had a blown brake line so I had no brakes, so they fixed that, then after I bought the truck it was raining on the way home and the wipers were literally falling apart and I couldn't see anything, it's quite apparent to me that this dealer cares nothing about its customers or the vehicles they sell."
