Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and the federally mandated reversing camera
• Infotainment: Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a 10.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a navigation system
• Fuel efficiency: 18.1 mpg, which came close enough to the official EPA rating of 19 mpg to call it good

Which Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan offers these trims:

• Macan: The base model brings a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, plus the standard seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
• Macan S: The Macan S adds the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 375 hp and 383 lb-ft, newly standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and larger 20-inch standard wheels; it is the best-value trim for buyers who want the strongest balance of performance and equipment.
• Macan GTS: The GTS adds the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 434 hp and 406 lb-ft, carrying the high-output powertrain into the top of the lineup.

What Porsche Macan do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Macan years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right color, equipment, and price. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often when they want a newer Macan with broad availability.

What is the Porsche Macan's resale value?

Most model years are showing declines, and several of those drops are double-digit moves. That pattern creates better opportunities for used buyers, especially if you are shopping older or mid-cycle examples. The newest years are also easing, though by a smaller amount than many earlier models.

The 2025, 2021, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Porsche Macan safe?

• 2022: 4/10

Every 2022 Porsche Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and the federally mandated reversing camera.
