Which Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan offers these trims:

• Macan: The entry model brings a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 261 horsepower, plus the refreshed styling, larger standard wheels, and the updated interior center console.
• Macan S: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers, adding the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 375 horsepower, newly standard PASM adaptive damping suspension, and larger 20-inch standard wheels.
• Macan GTS: This trim adds the 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with 434 horsepower and carries the high-output powertrain from the former Turbo into the GTS nameplate.

What Porsche Macan do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Macan years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2024.

Those higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you the broadest selection of listings and a strong mix of pricing and deal availability. That makes it easier to compare examples and find the right balance of features, mileage, and condition.

What is the Porsche Macan's resale value?

The table shows broad price declines across the lineup, which is good news if you are shopping used. Most model years are down by double digits, and even the newer examples have moved lower over the past year.

The smallest year-over-year drops are concentrated in the newest model years, while older examples show steeper declines. That creates a wide spread of value opportunities depending on how recent you want your Macan to be.

The 2025, 2022, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Porsche Macan safe?

• 2022: 4/10

Every 2022 Porsche Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and the federally mandated reversing camera.

Should I buy a used Porsche Macan now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings at a current average price of $65,945. The Porsche Macan offers a sporty, premium driving character that has long been a defining part of its appeal.

Consider waiting if:
