Bought the car after being abandoned by a young man going to turn it into a Nova clone. I got it fairly cheap, and have put little money into it. Car is a blast to drive, turns heads everywhere. Gas mileage is poor, but does that surprise you with a Pontiac 400?

Its what GM called unibody construction, same as the Firebird and Camaro so body flex is a problem when driving on uneven ground. The stock 305 CID motor had ample power but my 396 CID engine swap almost trippled the grin factor (425HP - 470Tq).

Its a nice car considering its age its got v8 305 CI 2 barrel carburetor of course it needs lots of repairs being such an old car and its in dire need of a new paint job. It is however great fun to drive and I do beat on it like a rented mule once in a while.

I don't like the shortness because it takes away from making it look like a classic muscle car look. It is a V6 so it does chew gas compared to a 4 cylinder. How ever it still is a fun little care to drive and I am going to take the time to restore it. Paint it and put a real air intake and make it a muscle car with a sweet ass engine.
