This is my car.purchased Mar.15 1975. Engine is 400 rebuilt with Edelbrock heads and intake, hardtop with power windows, Dana locker reared and runs 15.6 at Sparta raceway. Lots of fun

My 1964 Plymouth Fury was one of my favorites. The stock motor was replaced by a 413 cubic inch torque monster. A dash mounted push button shifter transferred power to a 4:10 8 3/4 inch Sure-Grip rear end. This 4000 pound beast annihilated many a Mustang, Camaro, etc...The shock on the owners faces when the light turned green never ceased to bring a huge smile to my face!

I loved the fact that it was ( at one time ) a Mi. State Police car. It had the 440 interceptor in it. I could cruise at a 100 mph all day, and never bother that motor. So was it fun to drive? Hell yes!! Of course when I owned this car gas was just $ 1.25 a gallon.
