it is unstoppable & reliable,very good on Acceleration, braking excellent, handleing in all type of weather,on all types of roads,just new tyres, no squeaks/ rattles, for a work ute it is very good on Appearance, it is just the basic interior/ exterior, it was a excellent buy,very good on gas mileage special long trips,very good on maintances, i would not say it was fun to drive but for a work ute it is excellent to drive on the roads.

The Mitsubishi Triton, called the Strada in the Philippines, has decent performance for the price. The GLS Sport has a 3.2L CRDI (Common Rail Direct Injection) engine that is essentially the same engine as the new Pajero. The engine is rather powerful for the light frame of the pickup and offers excellent acceleration. Braking and handling is impressive and almost car-like. As with most Mitsubishi SUVs and pickups, the shift-on-the-fly 4x4 still continues to amaze me. Shifting from 2WD to 4WD is easy and quick. For fuel economy, I am able to run somewhere between 10 - 13kms/L. On the other hand, build quality was somewhat disappointing. The pickup is under a year-old and has made several trips to the shop due to some squeaks in the clutch and noise in the rear suspension. In spite of these problems, the dealership was able to address all my concerns and correct them all promptly. The pickup has a very aggressive exterior styling and somehow mimics the helmet of a Stormtrooper from a George Lucas movie (check out a white colored Strada and you'll get my point). Overall, the Mitsubishi Strada continues the L200 tradition and is a very fun vehicle to drive both in the city and off-road.

Best Bakkie on the ROAD. It's like a car with a big boot. Performs beautifully, good acceleration. Soft on the road. 4x4 like nothing else. Sexy look. Beautifull lines. 10km/l at the coast driving at 120km/h. Interior is sleek and sexy with leather, heated seats. Beautifull dash with all the info and buttons at the right places.

Excellent vehicle on and off road, being a diesel it is economical to run and gets great mileage ( avg, 9.7l\110km). The Triton is the best performing, styled and priced vehicle in it's class. If you can afford the extra, it would pay to upgrade the suspension.
