(11 reviews)*Please note that the photo pictured is not actual car, though it is the same color* What can I say? It was a luxo-barge. It rode smooth and handle fairly well, (on dry pavement that it is), had plenty of get up and go thanks to its 400CI V8 engine producing a somewhat lame 176HP and a rocking 326 lb ft of torque. Despite hitting a deer, (and later a road sign) it was in good shape. It's trunk was big enough to comfortably hold two people or five full size tyres. Unfortunately, it had two to many doors, horrid fuel mileage, an ugly creamy yellow color, and an engine that couldn't hold up to losing it's water pump...
4700 lbs. 19 feet long the only thing unsolid on his car is the inside door handles it has a 6.6 liter 400 pushed the bumper in on a 87 astro van and my car still looks perfect like steering a boat 100% worth the gas mileage its the coupe paid $380 all it needs is an alternator 80k miles no rust on body :)originally wanted 1,200
its a good car but its just to small for me and the yeat it is , is new will the whle exhust retake sytem and has tomany hoses for it and stll dosnt get htat great of milage. and it only has the v-6
I love the way this car runs and handles, for as old as it is the paint and body are amazing in my own opinion Very reliable Driven daily the only reason we are getting rid of this car is because with three kids under 7 we need a van or smaller car as a woman the motor is just too much for me
This wagon reminds me of the 1971 Ford LTD Country Squire we had when I was growing up. It totally makes me feel like a kid again. I'm installing an 8-Track player in it so it's even more like my Dad's old one. I bought it from the original owner who owned it for the forst 39 years of it's life. The only deviation from stock are the 16" Lincoln LSC mags. I refinished them by hand and they look good on the wagon. I'm thinking about going to 17" Mustang Bullit mags, if I can find an affordable set. The suspension is stock, but it looks lower with these wheels. I would love to find a set of rear folding seats to convert it into a 10 passenger wagon. If you've got a set, let me know.
