While this vehicle is basically a luxurized Pathfinder, it is worth every extra you pay for. Performance is excellent. It handles well and drives much smoother than any Pathfinder. Lots of power too, 240 hp! The AWD/4x4 is easy to operate, provides extra traction when conditions get slick and allows the QX4 to cut like a knife through deep snow as well. On longer trips, it provides comfortable travel. I'm 6'3" and find that all seats (front and back) on long trips have plenty of room and comfort. Back seat reclines, giving extra room and easier to nap. The build quality is great as well. No squeaks or rattles ever. The dealer replaced (under warranty) a cd player and power seat motor. The appearance of this SUV is very classy but yet solid. I love the exterior color combinations that Infiniti offers and the interior is very stunning and fresh. Lots of wood accents but just the right amount. There's only one cup holder in the middle console. Plenty of storage space, as well as "hidden" compartments for valuables. Back seats fold completely flat, allowing for tons of room. Gas mileage is around 18/22, depending on how careful you are with acceleration and braking. Oil changes were expensive at the dealer so we found a less expensive alternative. Same with maintenance. we noticed no difference in performance. My wife and I have owned our QX4 for 4 years and it is the best SUV I've ever driven.

Very comfortable, good looks, really quick, tows well, great reliability. I have had my qx4 for 7 years and I have had almost no problems, I am up to 185k miles and that is a good test. This is a great car in snow, the 4wd has many options for any conditions that come up. I am using it in mn so it has been put through its paces.

Its got a 180HP V6, which gives a good amount of power when needed. The transmission setup is sweet, very torque-full and possibilities to control gears even as an automatic! Fuel economy is ok for an SUV, and the stock bose sound system is top par. Ride quality is smooth and blind spots are small, making this an excellent highway vehicle. Interior cabin noise is low for an SUV. The highlight of this vehicle is the 4WD system, its an electronic on the fly switching between rear wheel drive and 4wd, and when 4wd is active, the truck GRIPS really well. Traction is good and the limited slip differential activates exactly when needed. Turning with 4WD active on snow is not excellent though, car tends to oversteer at higher speeds in snow which is expected of course in snow. Overall i am very impressed
