This truck was in pristine condition, exactly what I was after in a vehicle. I passed on it because the asking price was pretty much what it was worth new in 2015. I have a hard time paying that kind of money for a 11 year old truck.

Besides the bells and whistles we grabbed this dually because we pull a toy hauler. We went from a sturdy 2500 Dodge Ram to this beauty. We choose the dually 3500 due to the pulling capacity and payload as toy haulers are heavier in front to compensate for the weight that you can put in the back. We have no issues pulling it now and the truck does not squat because the support of the 4 tires. Other friends have regular 3500 and still have issues with the payload and had to put in more money into their vehicle to beef up the suspension when pulling a toy hauler because the payload is less. YOU WONT REGRET BUYING ONE!

Why it stands out
The 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD stands out as a heavy-duty truck that blends serious work capability with a more refined personality than its commercial-grade roots might suggest. It is part of the fifth generation, which debuted as a 2020 model, and this generation brought a larger footprint, revised styling, and significant gains in maximum towing capacity. The truck also offers a wide range of cab, bed, axle, and trim configurations, so buyers can tailor it from a basic workhorse to a much more upscale rig.
For 2025, the Sierra 3500HD’s trailer brake controller became standard on all models, and adaptive cruise control with trailering assist and parking sensors were available with more models. The lineup still includes a 6.6-liter V8 with 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, plus a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 with 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque, and the truck can be configured to haul up to 7,442 pounds of cargo and tow up to 35,500 pounds. Higher trims add features such as the MultiPro tailgate, trailering assist technology, off-road hardware on the AT4, and luxury touches on the Denali, while the base model remains intentionally sparse.
That breadth is a big part of the Sierra 3500HD’s appeal: it can be a stripped-down tool, a towing specialist, an off-road-capable heavy-duty pickup, or a luxury truck with premium amenities. The tradeoff is that it is still a large, unwieldy vehicle in tight spaces, and the top trims can be very expensive. Even so, for buyers who need maximum capability and want more comfort and technology than a bare-bones work truck, the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD is distinctive for how far it stretches across that spectrum.
