Best car I've ever owned. Melbourne / Brisbane at 45 miles per gallon, 104mph between Cobar and Wilcannia. Great colour, Beige, didn't show the dirt and did 72,000 miles in it in 3 and a half years on two clutches and one set of brakes. Handled like the rally car it was bred to be. Fantastic car and fun to drive.

Go Fast or Go Home This car was so much fun, you just want to keep driving, even when the race was finished. Handled like a dream, powered out of corners like a V8 and just kept on going. Had a ball driving it and owning it, it was fast.

Originally bought by my brother. This car was a bit loud, very rough but a serious rocket! Originally mission brown in colour, it had been in some sort of front end accident so it had no front bumper and the first foot of the car was straight but primer grey. It did have some of the best lights I've ever had on a car with a total of 520W when the driving lights were on. They could melt road signs at 200m! The engine was from a 180B SSS and had been fitted with a quarter race cam, and 45mm side draught Webber carbs. The exhaust was via turned extractors and a 3 inch system with just a single muffler. The engine was a good setup, although it had a bit of a flat spot at 110km/h. It only really showed up when travelling on the highway. The car was suspended on Lovells red springs all round with Koni shocks. I could take speed humps at 80km/h and it would just soak it up! :-D It did have a serious rust problem and the drivers door would sometimes pop halfway open if you hit a big bump due to the body twisting! other than that it was reasonably solid. I used to love flinging the car around, especially power sliding round corners in the wet. The steering feedback let you know exactly what was happening and the rear suspension let you control the slides with ease. The handling was amazing! This is the car I truly learned to drive in.
