1999 Chevrolet Astro LT AWD Passenger Van Extended Review
by Rog

The Astro has performed above my expectations.

Purchase Vehicle new in 1999. The vehicle has 138,000 miles and is now encountering issues I am not familiar with. The turning radius on these vehicles are awesome.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (3 reviews) "I bought this car! Talked to them on a Saturday evening, drove down to Buellton on Sunday, and met Tom and Mark ! We're pleasant enough, gave me the keys and let the Porsche sell itself! By Thursday night I had the check went down and picked up car! Here's where things went south! Tues and we'd night it had poured rain I mean REALLY BAD! Thurs night I show off car to family, Friday drive to work and Saturday drive to Santa Barbara! In Santa Barbara about 11:30 am I notice the windows won't roll up, wife and I stop at Alpha Thrift in Goleta I turn off the engine, and car won't start again! As I'm checking things out baffled why car won't start I notice driver floor front and back is DRENCHED! I have no power to open hood or truck erea nothing! I call Tom ,and tell him what's going on, seems concerned but that's about it! Anyways I have roadside assistance, I call GEICO they tow car to Santa Barbara Porsche Dealership there closed drop key in drop box, family has to come to SB and pick us up! Embarrassing to say the least! To make matters worse wife was just starting to like the car, cause it was like pulling teeth when I brought car home! So she was passed! Dealer calls me Monday touch base about car! Tuesday they call and say the window had been left open all nite and soaked the floor destroying the alarm module will have to remove carpet and replace $1500 damage ! It's now Saturday one week later car is still at dealership! Called Tom told them what dealer said, they said NO , That didn't happen, that's my story!"
