Its appeal also comes from a simple, sensible layout and a broad feature set. The market signal is favorable, with 41.7% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Volkswagen Jetta reliable?

Should I buy a 2026 Volkswagen Jetta or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers plenty of passenger space, a large trunk, and a fuel-efficient engine with plenty of zip.

The bottom line: The 2026 Volkswagen Jetta is the better pick if you want the newer model-year updates and a strong mix of comfort, technology, and value. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it keeps the Jetta’s practical strengths and may leave more room in your budget.
