New & Used 2026 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

Is the 2026 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 earns a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It’s a traditional body-on-frame luxury SUV that emphasizes space, towing ability, and refinement, and it can carry up to seven people while towing up to 8,500 pounds. That makes it a strong fit if you need more than a typical crossover can offer, especially for hauling passengers, trailers, or gear.

The trade-offs are clear: it’s heavy and inefficient, and its massive size makes handling cumbersome. Pricing can also reach six figures, so this is best for you if you’ll actually use its size and towing strength.

Good and great deals account for 37.0% of listings, which suggests there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 is described as a modernized full-size luxury SUV with a new powertrain, updated tech, and a body-on-frame design that adds rigidity over the previous ladder frame. Its twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 is presented as strong from a stop, with immediate power delivery and a transmission that generally keeps the power on tap.

Infiniti also backs the QX80 with a 48-month, 60,000-mile warranty, which helps support ownership confidence. The model’s standard equipment and available features suggest a well-developed package, and the expert notes that the systems worked as intended in testing.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its size, complexity, and thirst can make it expensive to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large luxury SUV with available air suspension, advanced driver-assistance tech, and multiple screens. Focus on overall condition, signs of heavy use, and whether the equipment works as intended, since this kind of vehicle can be costly to sort out after purchase.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Pure is the entry point, but the Luxe is the trim that adds the air suspension, adaptive dampers, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and power-folding second- and third-row seats. The Sport is mainly an appearance package rather than a true performance upgrade, while the Autograph brings the most equipment.
• Powertrain: The QX80 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional on the two base trims and standard on the top pair.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, adaptive cruise control, ProPilot Assist 1.1, forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active blind-spot monitors that cover a trailer, rear automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, a driver-attention monitor, traffic-sign recognition, and a surround-view camera system with moving object detection. ProPilot Assist 2.1 is available on the top trim.
• Infotainment: You get a pair of 14.3-inch screens, Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and a 5G connection for Wi-Fi hotspot and remote services. A front-passenger screen is not offered.
• Fuel efficiency: With 4WD, it’s rated at 15 mpg city, 19 highway, and 17 combined; with RWD, it’s rated at 16/20/18 mpg.

Which 2026 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 4 trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Autograph.

Here's the short version:

• Pure: This is the entry trim, but it’s the one most likely to leave you wanting more because the air suspension and adaptive dampers are not included. If you want the QX80’s core space and towing ability at the lowest starting price, this is the starting point.
• Luxe: This is the best-value trim. It adds the air suspension, adaptive dampers, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and power-folding second- and third-row seats, which makes it the sweet spot for comfort and everyday usability.
• Sport: This trim adds exterior and interior appearance changes, but it does not add sporty hardware. Choose it only if you want the look.
• Autograph: This is the fully loaded choice, with biometric cooling, massaging seats, heated third-row seats, an in-vehicle camera, a front console coolbox, and the hands-free version of ProPilot Assist.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while ProPilot Assist 2.1 is reserved for the top trim.

Should I buy a 2026 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It adds a new Sport trim while keeping the redesigned QX80’s luxury, space, and towing strengths.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It brings the redesigned QX80’s fresh identity, new styling, new powertrain, and updated tech features.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the redesigned QX80 with strong market availability, the 2026 is the better default choice. If you’re shopping mainly on value, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the core redesign benefits and may be easier to find at a lower price.
