Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 15.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,908 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Nissan Murano earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The redesign gives you a fresh identity, a stylish exterior, and a comfort-first cabin, while the new powertrain and added tech make it feel meaningfully updated. It also sits in a practical sweet spot if you want an upscale-feeling crossover without moving too far upmarket.

The trade-offs are real, though: the backseat legroom is poor, and true hands-free driving is not available. Nissan also removed some features that were previously more accessible, so the value story depends on which equipment matters most to you.

Good and great deals account for 41.2% of listings, which is a solid sign that you can still find competitive pricing.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s new powertrain and updated transmission point to a more modern mechanical setup than the previous generation, and the expert review describes the new turbocharged engine as torquier than the old V6. It also notes that the nine-speed automatic is a substantial improvement over the old continuously variable transmission, which should help the driving experience feel more responsive in everyday use.

The model’s comfort-oriented design and added standard tech suggest a well-rounded ownership experience, and the expert review also highlights active noise cancellation as standard. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Murano’s upscale features and newer-generation complexity may make condition and maintenance history more important than they were on the simpler outgoing model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping higher-mileage examples or a trim with more equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the new look, standard 20-inch wheels, and a strong equipment list, while the SL adds the glass-effect dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, ambient lighting, and more upscale cabin content. The Platinum builds further with a 21-inch wheel design and additional premium features, so the SL is the best-value trim if you want the biggest jump in feel and features without going all the way to the top.
• Powertrain: The Murano uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the new transmission is a major improvement over the old CVT. AWD is available only on the base trim as an option, while SL and Platinum are AWD by default.
• Safety package: The standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The Murano also adds ProPILOT Assist, while SL and Platinum get ProPILOT Assist 1.1, which adds navigation-based speed adjustment. Base-trim buyers miss out on the more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.
• Infotainment: Every Murano gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and a dual 12.3-inch screen setup. SL adds Google Built-In, and the Bose audio upgrade arrives there as well, so tech-focused shoppers may want to start at that trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 21 mpg city, 27 highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the entry point, and it gives you the new powertrain, standard wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite. It’s the trim to choose if you want the Murano’s redesign at the lowest price and don’t need the extra luxury touches.
• SL: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds Google Built-In, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, 64-color ambient lighting, and the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1 setup. It also brings the glass-effect dash treatment and more premium cabin presentation.
• Platinum: This is the top trim if you want the most upscale Murano experience, including the 21-inch wheel design and the highest level of available equipment. It’s the right pick if you want the most premium feel and don’t mind paying for it.

SL and Platinum also get the more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,845 sits slightly below last year's $39,892.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure resale values for current owners. If you plan to sell later, the good news is that the Murano’s refreshed design and stronger feature set should help it stay relevant with shoppers who want a comfort-focused crossover.

The biggest factor for future resale will likely be condition and equipment level, since the model’s appeal is tied closely to its upscale presentation. Well-kept examples with desirable features should be easier to move than stripped or heavily used ones.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

The 2025 Murano earned a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it also adds a more advanced safety setup than the outgoing model.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite includes lane-departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. The Murano also adds ProPILOT Assist, which combines Intelligent Cruise Control with Steering Assist, and SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 with navigation-based speed adjustment.

Base-trim buyers miss out on the more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Invisible Hood View, which are reserved for higher trims. The review also notes that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model brings a new powertrain, a fresh redesign, and a broader set of new tech and comfort features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Murano with the strongest mix of style, comfort, and updated tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is spending less, a nearby older model year may be worth considering, but you’ll be giving up the redesign and the newer feature set that define this generation.
