Is the 2025 Lexus NX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its distinctive styling, luxury feel, and strong reputation for reliability. It also gives you a broad range of powertrains, including hybrid options, so you can prioritize efficiency or a more traditional setup depending on your needs.

It is especially appealing if you value a premium cabin and available upscale equipment, since even the base model includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. That price movement suggests the NX has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable point. If you keep the NX clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you should be in a stronger position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.59% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• Hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions are priced more affordably.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary pick if you want a strong mix of value, inventory, and a dependable ownership case. If you are especially price-sensitive and want to focus on electrified versions, the 2026 is worth a look as a secondary path.
