Used 2025 Honda Odyssey for Sale nearHowell, MI

How much does the 2025 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 16.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,767 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey a good car?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey earns an expert rating of 6.33/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Form and function.

You still get the core Odyssey strengths that matter most to family buyers: it is comfortable, practical, and enjoyable to drive, with comfortable seats and plenty of cargo space. The trade-offs are clear, though: the updated technology only meets minimum standards and expectations, and the van is described as falling behind its rivals.

Cons: Hybrid powertrain unavailable; outdated technology.

With 40.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey reliable?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is presented as a familiar, proven family hauler with a traditional V6 powertrain and a long-running formula that emphasizes comfort and practicality. Its driving character is described as smooth and rewarding for a minivan, and the cabin layout favors straightforward controls and everyday usability.

The performance notes point to a tried-and-true 3.5-liter V6, a 10-speed automatic, and a ride-and-handling setup that feels natural and composed. That kind of conventional mechanical setup can be reassuring if you want a minivan that avoids complexity.

Honda also includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and USB-C ports, which helps the cabin feel more current even if the broader infotainment experience is still dated. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that you may be buying into an aging design that could feel less competitive and less satisfying over time than newer rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin tech, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since the update-heavy 2025 model leans more on equipment than on a full redesign. Focus especially on whether the features you care about are present on the trim you’re considering.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2025 Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. The base trim is gone, so the least expensive version starts higher than before. The upper trims add more convenience and luxury equipment, and the Elite is the most fully equipped version.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. There is no hybrid powertrain or AWD option.
• Safety package: Every Odyssey has Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The cabin gets a 7-inch digital driver display and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging are standard, and USB-C ports are spread throughout the cabin.
• Fuel efficiency: The Odyssey should get 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is offered in 4 trim levels: EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L: This is the entry point now that the base trim is gone, so it is the trim to consider if you want the lowest starting price in the lineup. It still gives you the Odyssey’s core comfort and practicality, but you should expect fewer upscale extras than the higher trims.
• Sport-L: This is the trim to target if you want a step up from the entry model without going all the way to the top. It should make the most sense if you want a better balance of equipment and price.
• Touring: This trim adds more convenience and family-friendly equipment, including front and rear parking sensors. It is a strong choice if you want more of the Odyssey’s useful features without paying for the top trim.
• Elite: This is the most fully equipped Odyssey, with the most premium presentation and the highest price. Choose it if you want the most features and are willing to pay for them.

Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors, which is a useful safety-package upgrade.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Odyssey?

This is a buyer-friendly market if you are willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,767 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,582, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $35,582 sits slightly below last year's $42,730.

That price movement suggests the Odyssey has become easier to buy than it was a year ago, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, though, it also means you may face more pressure to price competitively if the market stays soft.

Because the Odyssey is already positioned as a practical family vehicle rather than a bargain pick, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim. A well-kept example with desirable equipment should hold up better than one that feels dated or lightly equipped.

Is the 2025 Honda Odyssey safe?

The 2025 Odyssey earns a Poor rating in a new IIHS evaluation, and Honda says it performs well in NHTSA testing.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.

The safety tech generally works smoothly and unobtrusively, but the lane-departure warning feel is subtle, and the adaptive cruise control can brake too hard in moderate to heavy traffic. The Odyssey also shows a delayed reaction when slower vehicles leave the lane ahead.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.73% compared with last year.
• Honda’s 2025 updates bring a new 7-inch digital driver display, an updated 9-inch touchscreen, modernized USB-C charging ports, a smartphone charging pad, and a new Amazon Fire TV rear-seat entertainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the Odyssey with its updated tech and you can find a clean, well-priced example, the 2025 is the one to shop. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may deliver much of the same family-friendly practicality for less money, especially if you are willing to give up the newest cabin updates.
