How much does the 2025 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 3.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,767 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda CR-V earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its excellent fuel efficiency, comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features, and they also highlight its handling and performance as standout qualities. With its roomy cabin, easy daily usability, and practical compact-crossover layout, it fits especially well if you want a small SUV that feels straightforward to live with. 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability-minded traits such as dependable everyday use, trouble-free ownership, and confidence over the long term. That matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for commuting, family duty, and routine errands without a lot of drama. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior damage, and how well the cabin and mechanicals have been maintained, since those details matter most when you’re choosing among otherwise similar listings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,767 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.90% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,567, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $31,567 sits slightly below last year's $32,849.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. The good news is that a model with broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction usually holds buyer interest better than a more niche vehicle. If you keep the vehicle in clean condition and maintain it well, you improve your odds of getting stronger resale interest later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction in this generation. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing for a lower entry cost, but the 2025 gives you a compelling balance of value and confidence.
