You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.06% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,731, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,311 average.
• It balances practicality, space, and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: the 2025 is the better primary target if you want the lower average price and a healthy share of clean, fairly priced listings. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2024 is still worth a look for its practical strengths, but you’ll want to justify the higher average cost with the specific vehicle’s condition and equipment.
