Used 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ for Sale nearFort Walton Beach, FL

How much does the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ cost?

Prices have softened 12.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 218 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ earns an expert rating of 7.83/10.

The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Cadillac positions the OPTIQ as its entry-level electric SUV, and that matters because you get a luxury-branded EV with strong range, upscale design, and a lower starting point than the brand’s larger electric SUVs. The trade-offs are clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, forward visibility is limited, and torque steer can make the AWD setup feel less composed than you might expect.

The OPTIQ’s value case is reinforced by its standard equipment and its place in the market, where 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ reliable?

The OPTIQ’s appeal starts with its positioning as a new entry-level EV from Cadillac, and the expert evaluation highlights strong value, a comfortable ride, and a cabin that feels more upscale than the related mainstream GM EV it shares hardware with. The standard dual-motor AWD setup and the 85-kWh battery pack give you a straightforward electric powertrain layout, while the expert notes also point to a quiet cabin and a ride that stays comfortable even on larger wheels.

Cadillac also includes an eight-year/100,000-mile battery-pack warranty on top of the standard four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper coverage, which helps reduce long-term ownership risk for used buyers. For a used EV, you should still pay close attention to battery state of health, charging habits, and whether the car has been mostly Level 2 charged or frequently fast-charged.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify the battery and charging equipment, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and wheel/tire condition. Because this is an EV, it also makes sense to confirm how the previous owner charged it and whether the battery seems to hold range consistently in normal use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup is split into Luxury and Sport versions, with two levels for each. The Luxury models emphasize a cleaner, more traditional upscale look, while the Sport models add darker exterior trim and a more aggressive grille treatment. The base trim is the one to watch most closely for feature gaps, since the higher trims add conveniences such as surround-view cameras and ventilated front seats.
• Powertrain: The OPTIQ uses a dual-motor AWD setup with 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 85-kWh battery pack. The expert notes that it has more power than it can fully use, and torque steer can show up under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: Super Cruise is standard, along with forward collision warning, front and rear automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, and a rear-seat reminder. Cadillac also includes the vibrating Safety Alert Seat and teen driver monitoring.
• Infotainment: You get a 33-inch curved display, Google Built-in, and a standard 19-speaker AKG audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not available, and a head-up display is available.
• Range & charging: The OPTIQ is rated at 302 miles of range, with 150-kilowatt DC fast charging that can add 79 miles in 10 minutes. It also supports 11.5-kW Level 2 charging, with an available 19.2-kW onboard charger and a charge cord for household outlets.
• Battery health: Check the battery’s state of health, ask how often the car was DC fast charged versus charged at home, and confirm that the battery warranty coverage still applies. A used EV with mostly home charging and stable range readings is generally the safer bet.

Which 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ is offered in 4 trim levels: Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Sport 1, Sport 2.

Here's the short version:

• Luxury 1: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core OPTIQ formula: standard AWD, Super Cruise, the large curved display, and the long-range battery setup. If you want the best-value way into the model, this is the trim to start with.
• Luxury 2: This is the best-value upgrade if you want more everyday convenience, because it adds features such as surround-view cameras and ventilated front seats without changing the OPTIQ’s basic character.
• Sport 1: Choose this if you prefer the darker, more aggressive exterior treatment and want the same core EV hardware in a more expressive package.
• Sport 2: This is the most fully equipped Sport version, so it makes sense if you want the sportier look and the richer feature set together.

Super Cruise and the rest of the core driver-assistance suite are standard across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever for a better moment.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,816, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ's resale value?

The current average of $42,017 sits slightly below last year's $48,262.

That price movement suggests the OPTIQ has already moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its depreciation curve. If you buy used now, you’re entering at a lower average price than early shoppers saw, which can help limit your upfront loss if you resell later.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the model’s strong range, standard Super Cruise, and luxury-brand positioning continue to support demand. If they do, the OPTIQ should remain easier to move than a less distinctive EV, but its resale will still depend heavily on condition, battery health, and how well the market values its feature set over time.

Is the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ safe?

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ’s crash-test ratings were not available at press time.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Super Cruise hands-free highway driving system is the headline safety feature, and Cadillac pairs it with forward collision warning, front and rear automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, and a rear-seat reminder. The Safety Alert Seat and teen driver monitoring are also standard.

The main caveat is that the OPTIQ was too new for crash-test results at the time of evaluation, so you should weigh its strong driver-assistance hardware against the lack of published test data.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.94% compared with last year.
• The 2025 stands out for its strong value, standard Super Cruise, and long-range EV setup.

The bottom line: If you want the OPTIQ’s current mix of value, range, and standard equipment, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market for a lower-mileage example or a listing near the bottom of the year-round range, since the current pricing trend gives you some leverage.
