Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale nearBaton Rouge, LA

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 7.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,695 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 7.33/10.

The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The RDX is appealing if you want a compact luxury crossover that emphasizes style, value, and an enjoyable driving experience. Acura’s updates for this model year freshen the look, improve everyday convenience, and add a better presentation for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The trade-offs are clear: the infotainment controls are frustrating, fuel economy is poor, and the back seat is uncomfortable.

39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX comes across as a familiar, well-sorted model rather than a risky redesign, and its core mechanical setup is straightforward: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 10-speed automatic, and SH-AWD.

The expert evaluation also points to a durable-feeling package with strong interior quality, practical details, and a driving experience that improves with time. The performance notes describe the RDX as lively and enjoyable in daily use, with crisp steering and confident braking.

Acura also includes a maintenance perk in the ownership value discussion: the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the RDX’s thirsty engine and frustrating infotainment system can wear on you even if the vehicle itself remains mechanically appealing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially if you’re comparing multiple trims or higher-mileage examples. Pay close attention to cabin condition, infotainment behavior, and how the driver-assistance systems feel in real use. Because this model’s strengths are tied to comfort, value, and equipment, you’ll want to make sure the specific vehicle you’re considering matches the condition and feature set you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup centers on a base level of specification with Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance packages. The base version is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment, while the higher packages add the richer cabin and convenience features that make the RDX feel more premium.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and SH-AWD. The setup is lively and responsive, but the fuel economy is a weak point.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims.
• Infotainment: The dashboard display is 10.2 inches, and it is not a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, and all versions except the base model add navigation and a premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA fuel economy rating is 23 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 5 trim levels: base, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it’s also the version most likely to feel stripped compared with the better-equipped packages. If you want the lowest starting point, this is it, but you’ll give up some of the nicer convenience and safety-adjacent upgrades found higher up.
• Technology: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds meaningful equipment without pushing you all the way to the top of the range. It’s the trim to target if you want a more complete luxury experience without overpaying.
• A-Spec: Choose this if you want the sportier look and a more distinctive cabin presentation. It adds visual flair, but the content still makes clear that the A-Spec badge is about appearance rather than true performance.
• Advance: This is the comfort-focused upgrade if you want more of the premium touches and the added convenience features that make daily use easier.
• A-Spec Advance: This is the most fully equipped version and the one to buy if you want the richest feature set, including the top-trim leather upgrade and the most upscale presentation.

Higher trim levels also bring low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system, while the base RDX lacks those features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and negotiate.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,695 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,019, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $42,019 sits slightly below last year's $45,488.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more attractive to buyers in the near term, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy at the current average or below, you’re starting from a more favorable position than last year’s shopper. If prices continue to ease, resale upside may stay limited unless your vehicle is especially well equipped and well maintained.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

Higher trim levels also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system, while the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.

The main caveat is that the lane-assist systems were irritating in testing, and the adaptive cruise control could struggle to maintain a smooth following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.63% compared with last year.
• This year adds subtle styling updates, a new wireless charging pad, revised cupholders, and improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation.

The bottom line: The 2025 RDX is the right pick if you want the freshest version of this familiar formula and you value the updated convenience and tech touches. If your priority is simply getting into an RDX at the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be the better path, especially if you can find one with the equipment you want at a sharper number.
