Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 14.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,722 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy number of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.25/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Rogue’s refreshed styling and tech overhaul give it a more modern feel, and the available Platinum cabin adds an upscale touch. It also stands out for its impressive technology and powerful engine, even if its overall mission remains that of a compact crossover rather than a sporty SUV.

The main trade-offs are poor ride quality and fairly pedestrian performance. That means you may like it most if you value daily comfort, cabin polish, and tech more than driving excitement.

There are 40.2% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue’s reliability case is helped by its mainstream compact-SUV mission, its standard safety equipment, and its generally practical design. The powertrain is described as a true engineering curiosity, with a VC-Turbo setup that can vary compression ratio to emphasize power or fuel economy depending on the situation.

Nissan also includes a three-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which gives you a familiar ownership safety net. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well, since the model’s more complex turbocharged setup and tech-heavy cabin make condition especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, because the Rogue’s tech-heavy cabin and turbocharged powertrain make it worth confirming that everything works as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV, SL, and Platinum models. Base Rogue S models get 17-inch wheels, while SV models add 18-inch wheels and new interior materials on nearly every surface. SL and Platinum models step up to a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless smartphone integration, and more upscale cabin touches, while Platinum adds leather seats, quilted stitching, and more black exterior trim.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a CVT, standard front-wheel drive, and available all-wheel drive. The engine is strong, but the transmission response and ride tuning are less impressive.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and a more advanced version is standard on SL and Platinum, while adaptive cruise control is available on higher trim levels.
• Infotainment: S and SV models come with an 8-inch touchscreen and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum models upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel economy ratings weren’t available at publication, but the model is expected to be similar to the prior year’s 33 mpg combined for FWD S and SV models and 31 mpg combined with AWD, with slightly lower ratings for SL and Platinum models.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 4 trim levels: S, SV, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Rogue’s core turbocharged powertrain, standard safety tech, and basic infotainment. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the larger screens and extra cabin polish.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more refined interior materials, 18-inch wheels, and standard ProPilot Assist while staying below the higher-end models.
• SL: This trim is the sweet spot if you want the bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, the digital instrument cluster, and a more premium tech experience.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale Rogue, with leather seats, quilted stitching, more black exterior trim, and the most premium cabin presentation.

ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get the more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

It looks like a buyer-friendly moment, with solid deal availability and a price trend that favors shoppers.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,722 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,817, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $20,823 sits slightly below last year's $24,249.

That decline suggests the Rogue has become more affordable on the used market, which can help future buyers but may pressure resale values for current owners. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower price point than last year’s shoppers, which can reduce depreciation exposure over the near term.

The model’s broad appeal, strong tech story, and mainstream compact-SUV positioning should still support demand when it’s time to sell. Well-kept examples with desirable trims and clean history should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test on both the driver and passenger sides, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test. It also received an “Acceptable” rating in the updated side-impact test, a “Good” headlight rating, and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five stars in side crash tests and four stars in rollover and frontal crash tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on the SV trim, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help proactively slow for curves and interchanges.

The updated side-impact result is the main caveat to keep in mind, even though the Rogue’s overall safety picture is still strong.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps, which are firsts for Nissan.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $22,048, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $20,823 average.
• It offers a comfortable, safety-focused compact crossover with a strong family-SUV appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $23,309, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $20,823 average.
• It adds Rock Creek adventure gear and a newer highway driving assist system.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, fresh tech, and broad availability, the 2024 is the strongest default choice. If you’re shopping strictly on value, the 2024’s lower average price makes it easier to justify than the newer model year, while the 2025 is the better path if you want the added outdoorsy trim and newer driver-assist tech.
