Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a family-focused midsize SUV with a spacious cabin for eight, easy third-row access, and a comfortable ride. It also gives you useful capability, including available all-wheel drive and up to 6,000 lbs of towing capacity, while still keeping the interior modern and practical for everyday use. With 42.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Pathfinder’s appeal is rooted in its current-generation strengths: a proven V6, a nine-speed transmission, and a comfort-first layout that suits family use. Its broad usefulness and familiar mechanical setup make it a sensible choice if you want a three-row SUV that prioritizes everyday dependability over flash. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well, since a family SUV can accumulate heavy use quickly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the Pathfinder’s maintenance record before you buy. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the drivetrain, brakes, tires, and interior wear, especially if the SUV has been used for family hauling or towing. Focus on overall condition and evidence of regular care, since those factors matter more than mileage alone on a used three-row SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, with plenty of listings and meaningful price relief versus last year.

• Deal availability: 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,059 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,752, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $30,752 sits slightly below last year's $34,839.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the good news is that a well-kept Pathfinder still has broad family-SUV appeal, especially because it offers space, comfort, and towing ability in one package. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of holding value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $30,123, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,752 average.
• It adds a rugged Rock Creek option.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $33,258, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $30,752 average.
• It adds slight updates and a more value-focused feel.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and buyer confidence, the 2024 is the primary pick. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the current year while keeping the same core family-SUV formula.
