Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Ariya or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 43.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $22,720, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,005 average.
• It launched Nissan’s EV push with broad appeal and strong tech.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of deal availability, clean inventory, and softer pricing, the 2024 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the more price-sensitive alternative and still offers a compelling value story.
