How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,374 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The overview shows a model that blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, family-friendly feel, while still offering a wide range of trims and four-wheel-drive systems. That makes it a good fit if you want capability without giving up comfort or technology, especially since higher trims add a first-class cabin, advanced tech, and upscale features. With 37.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a well-rounded SUV with a straightforward powertrain lineup and a broad range of configurations, which can help you shop for the version that best fits your needs. Its appeal comes from balancing capability, comfort, and technology rather than chasing complexity for its own sake. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a trim or setup that adds cost and complexity beyond what you actually need.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm the listing’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim or more heavily equipped example, since condition and maintenance matter more as features and complexity rise. Focus on how the SUV was used and maintained, because the best used example is the one that matches your needs without hidden wear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,374 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,952, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,952 sits slightly below last year's $34,837.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if you buy at the wrong price. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is choosing a well-kept example with strong equipment appeal and avoiding overpaying today. A lower entry price can help offset some depreciation, especially if you buy near the bottom of the current range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2024 is the better primary choice if you want a well-rounded Grand Cherokee with strong user satisfaction, broad capability, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024’s combination of inventory depth, softened pricing, and strong owner approval makes it the version most shoppers should start with.
