Used 2024 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearAmes, IA

How much does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,299 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — you rate it 4.5/5, and the expert rating is 7.33/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The 2024 Gladiator stands out because you get an open-air pickup with removable doors and roof, plus serious off-road capability and useful towing and payload strength. Jeep also updated this model year with minor styling revisions, a next-generation infotainment system, and added comfort and convenience features, which makes it easier to live with day to day.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and a rougher, noisier driving experience, especially at speed. It also asks you to accept a more utilitarian cabin and a value proposition that depends heavily on whether you care about its unique personality.

Only 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Gladiator’s appeal comes from its durable, purpose-built character and its ability to handle demanding use, especially off-road. Jeep also updated the truck with added comfort and convenience features, which should help it feel more modern in everyday driving.

Its performance story is straightforward: you get a proven V6 powertrain, and the truck is built around capability rather than complexity. That said, used buyers should still plan for ownership costs and accept that this is a rugged truck with compromises, not a low-maintenance commuter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has seen trail use or heavy towing. Pay close attention to signs of wear in the suspension, tires, underbody, and interior, since this model is often bought for hard use and open-air fun.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with Sport, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon, then expands to Sport S, Mojave X, and Rubicon X, with regionally available versions such as Beach and Texas Trail. The base Sport is the most stripped-down choice, while higher trims add more comfort, convenience, and premium touches.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. Depending on configuration, the Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds, haul up to 1,725 pounds of payload, and provide up to 11.6 inches of ground clearance.
• Safety package: Starting with the Sport S, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors, so lower trims leave you with fewer standard driver-assistance features.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth pairing for two smartphones, over-the-air updates, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Gladiator’s fuel economy is poor, and testing returned 16.7 mpg over more than 175 miles of mixed driving. The EPA figure cited in testing is 19 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the most basic way into the Gladiator experience, so it makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and plan to keep the truck simple.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim because it adds forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability, making it the smartest starting point for most buyers.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more rugged personality than Sport S, while still staying below the more specialized off-road trims.
• Mojave: This is the desert-running trim, with a one-inch front suspension lift, FOX shocks, locking rear differential, heavy-duty axles, and Off-Road+ mode for buyers who want serious off-road hardware.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to target if you want the classic hard-core off-road setup and are willing to pay for it.
• Mojave X: This adds premium leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, and more upscale equipment on top of the Mojave formula.
• Rubicon X: This is the most premium off-road-focused choice, pairing the Rubicon’s capability with the added comfort and convenience upgrades.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors are standard on the Mojave X and Rubicon X, but not on lower trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting huge discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,299 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,588, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $37,588 sits slightly below last year's $41,844.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, which can make future resale a little more challenging if prices continue to soften. For you as a seller, the upside is that the Gladiator’s uniqueness still helps it stand apart from ordinary midsize trucks.

Its open-air setup, off-road identity, and strong enthusiast appeal should help support demand better than a more conventional pickup. Even so, the current price trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The Jeep Gladiator earns a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA, and IIHS is unimpressed with its headlights, seatbelt warnings, and pedestrian detection and protection systems.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Starting with the Sport S model, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors.

Jeep also says the 2024 Gladiator has structural improvements for side-impact protection, and the standard roll cage now includes front and rear side-curtain airbags. Even with those updates, the limited standard safety equipment and the rollover rating mean you should be especially careful about trim choice.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new 12.3-inch infotainment system and more comfort features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,866, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,588 average.
• It delivers the same open-air Jeep truck formula with strong towing and payload capability.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,583, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,588 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option and more standard equipment on the base trim.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of updated tech, improved comfort, and a softer market, the 2024 is the primary choice. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to wait for the hybrid direction.
