You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck's maintenance and ownership records line up with the seller's claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has seen heavy towing, off-road use, or high-mileage commuting. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and signs of uneven wear or repair work.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you're patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,511 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,243, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $48,243 sits slightly below last year's $54,054.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you if you're buying now. For a future seller, it also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. If you keep the truck clean and well-documented, you'll be in a better position to protect value when it's time to sell.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.75% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary target if you want a newer truck with a healthy inventory pool and a decent chance of finding a deal. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a slightly older option gives you a lower entry price, but the 2023 already looks competitive enough to justify starting your search there.
