How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,901 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a midsize SUV that blends capability with a more premium feel than many mainstream rivals, and it gives you a wide range of four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available air suspension for maximum ground clearance. That makes it a strong fit if you want everyday comfort with real off-road hardware. 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview emphasizes Jeep’s long-running formula of capability, premium-leaning design, and a broad trim walk that ranges from practical to upscale, which suggests the model is built to serve a wide range of buyers well. For used shoppers, that means your long-term ownership risk is most likely tied to how the vehicle was equipped and maintained, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has been used for off-road driving or equipped with more complex four-wheel-drive hardware. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear from heavier use, and whether the features you want are working as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate buyer's market, so you can be selective without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,901 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,226, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $29,226 sits slightly below last year's $31,612. That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays cool. For a seller, the upside is that the Grand Cherokee still has broad appeal thanks to its capability, premium feel, and wide trim range, which can help support demand when you decide to list it. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,214, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,226 average.
• It adds a redesigned feel with stronger tech and sophistication.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value play, especially if you want a lower entry price and can live with its older-year tradeoffs.
