How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe cost?

Prices have softened 7.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,463 listings available, which gives you a healthy pool of options to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its spaciousness, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and the family-friendly layout comes through clearly in the way owners describe it. The Tahoe’s use case is straightforward: you’re shopping for a full-size SUV with serious passenger room, cargo space, and towing ability, but you should expect it to be less budget-friendly than smaller alternatives. With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value the Tahoe’s long-term usefulness as a family hauler. The recurring praise for its spaciousness and smooth ride suggests that owners feel confident living with it day to day. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core appeal and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and any major repairs before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and overall condition, since this is a large, feature-rich SUV where wear can show up in multiple places. It also makes sense to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether everything works as expected, because the Tahoe’s size and equipment make condition especially important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,463 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,404, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $50,404 sits slightly below last year's $54,659.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited than they were a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the Tahoe’s broad appeal and strong family-hauling reputation should still help it attract buyers. The current pricing also gives you a clearer benchmark for judging whether a used example is fairly priced today.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe makes the most sense if you want the newer feature set and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you’re focused on value above all else, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2023 is the better primary path if you want a strong mix of space, capability, and current-market pricing. For price-sensitive buyers, the softer pricing trend makes this a good year to watch closely for a well-kept example.
