How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 9.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,686 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a large SUV built around space and usefulness, with an independent rear suspension that improves ride and handling while also helping cargo space and third-row legroom. It also offers a longer wheelbase for easier third-row access, plus useful everyday tech like wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. For buyers who need a full-size SUV that prioritizes people-moving, cargo-hauling, and towing, that combination makes it a compelling fit. 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview points to a vehicle that is engineered for heavy-duty usefulness, with a layout and chassis setup designed to support space, towing, and everyday practicality. Its broad powertrain mix and straightforward mission also suggest a truck-like durability focus rather than a complicated luxury-first approach. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about making sure a large, heavily used SUV has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, brakes, tires, and any signs of heavy towing or family-hauler wear. Focus on overall condition inside and out, since a vehicle this size can accumulate wear quickly if it has been used hard or parked in tight spaces.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,686 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $47,452, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $47,774 sits slightly below last year's $52,545. That tells you the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean a future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been kept. Because the Suburban is a high-demand utility vehicle for buyers who need space and towing ability, well-kept examples should still attract attention. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $42,253, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $47,774 average.
• It adds meaningful tech and safety upgrades.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $56,736, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $47,774 average.
• It remains especially appealing for buyers who need more usable third-row space.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your budget is tighter, the 2022 is the better value play, while the 2024 makes sense only if you want to spend more for a newer model-year option.
