Used 2023 Acura RDX for Sale nearCincinnati, OH

How much does the 2023 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 6.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,037 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2023 Acura RDX is a mixed but appealing choice if you want a luxury SUV that emphasizes value, comfort, and driving enjoyment over cutting-edge tech. It earns a user rating of 3/5 and an expert rating of 6.17/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Its strengths are easy to see in everyday use: the cabin is comfortable, the ride is composed, and the SUV is described as fun to drive. The main trade-off is the infotainment system, which is a clear weak point and can take time to get used to.

For shoppers who want a premium feel without paying top-tier luxury-SUV money, the RDX fits that brief well. With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2023 Acura RDX is presented as a well-rounded luxury SUV with strong performance, high comfort, and broad everyday appeal. The expert test-drive notes emphasize that the turbocharged powertrain is more than adequate for most drivers, the transmission chooses gears well, and the ride stays comfortable even when the road gets rough.

The cost-effectiveness notes also point to two years of free scheduled maintenance and three years of included data for the Wi-Fi hotspot and remote monitoring, which helps reduce early ownership costs. The powertrain is the only engine offered, so you’re not juggling multiple mechanical setups when shopping used.

For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is less about mechanical complexity and more about living with the car’s frustrating infotainment interface over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, confirm there are no hidden collision repairs, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics and cabin controls. Because the RDX’s biggest complaint is its technology, make sure the infotainment system, touchpad controller, and driver-assistance features all work the way you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base setup is light on luxury extras compared with higher trims, while the Technology package adds leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, and an upgraded audio system. The Advance package goes further with adaptive suspension dampers, additional front seat adjustments, premium audio, and a surround-view camera system.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, and SH-AWD is available on all models and standard on the top trims.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. The Technology package adds front and rear parking proximity sensors, while the Advance package adds a surround-view camera system and a head-up display.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 10.2-inch infotainment display and a touchpad controller. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto help make the system easier to use, and the vehicle also comes standard with a Wi-Fi hotspot and remote monitoring through the Acuralink smartphone app.
• Fuel efficiency: The AWD model returns 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined, while FWD models improve by one mpg across the board.

Which 2023 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2023 Acura RDX is offered in 3 trim levels: Technology, Advance, A-Spec Advance.

Here's the short version:

• Technology: This is the best-value choice if you want the biggest jump in comfort and convenience without going all the way to the top. It adds leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, and an upgraded audio system, making it the trim most shoppers should start with.
• Advance: This is the pick if you want the most complete luxury experience. It adds adaptive suspension dampers, additional front seat adjustments, premium audio, and a surround-view camera system, so it suits buyers who want more refinement and equipment.
• A-Spec Advance: This is the most expensive version and is best for shoppers who want the most fully equipped RDX experience. It builds on the upper-trim content and is the one to consider if you want the richest feature set.

The Technology package is the trim-level sweet spot, while the Advance package is the better choice if you want the most upscale equipment. Standard safety gear is strong across the lineup, with extra parking and camera features reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,037 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,762, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $34,762 sits slightly below last year's $37,329.

That decline suggests the used market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price more competitively to move inventory. If you buy well now, you’re starting from a lower entry point than last year’s shoppers.

For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the RDX still has appeal as a value-oriented luxury SUV, but resale strength will depend on condition, mileage, and trim. Well-equipped examples with clean history should hold up better than rougher or less desirable listings.

Is the 2023 Acura RDX safe?

The 2023 Acura RDX earns five-star ratings for overall and side crash protection, and four-star ratings for frontal and rollover protection from NHTSA. The IIHS gave it its highest score of Good across the board and named it a Top Safety Pick+.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. The Technology package adds front and rear parking proximity sensors, while the Advance package includes a surround-view camera system and a head-up display.

The lane-keep assist can tug against your hands in gentle curves, so it may feel a little intrusive on some roads. Even so, the overall safety package is strong, and the RDX’s crash-test results are a major selling point.

Should I buy a 2023 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.87% compared with last year.
• It combines strong performance, high comfort, and a relatively affordable price.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,126, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $34,762 average.
• It balances driving enjoyment with everyday usefulness.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger overall value proposition and are comfortable paying a bit more for a newer used example. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better path, especially if you find one in clean condition with the features you want.
