Is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid a good car?

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection and focus on overall condition, since a clean history does not guarantee the truck has been maintained well. Pay close attention to signs of heavy use, uneven wear, and any evidence that the vehicle has been worked hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 687 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,314, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $48,314 sits slightly below last year's $51,970.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to create better buying opportunities now, but it also means future resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and maintenance history. If you plan to sell later, keeping the truck in strong cosmetic and mechanical shape should matter even more.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.04% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want this model year, the 2022 is worth targeting when you find a clean example priced near or below the current average. If you are especially price-sensitive, it makes sense to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
