Why it stands out
The 2022 Kia Telluride is a standout midsize SUV, blending style, space, and safety to cater to families and individuals alike. Its robust 291-horsepower V6 engine offers sufficient power for daily driving and highway cruising, while the eight-speed automatic transmission enhances its driving experience. One notable feature is its well-appointed interior that gives a premium feel with standard amenities, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which elevates it above many competitors in the segment.
Expert reviews highlight its roomy cabin, well-thought-out tech features, and numerous safety systems, all of which contribute to its family-friendly reputation. Although it lacks a hybrid variant, the Telluride impresses with its towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds and a commendable 21 mpg in combined driving—making it an excellent choice for those who need versatility without sacrificing comfort or style.
However, some users have pointed out limitations such as the absence of wireless Android Auto, which can detract from the overall tech experience. Despite that, the Telluride remains an appealing choice thanks to its blend of practicality, aesthetics, and advanced safety features.

The vehicle itself is amazing, has lots of hidden features that I’ve never realized I needed. My personal favorite is the captain chairs for the second row with heating and cooling seats for the in-laws. Additionally, if I opened the back, there is a button that drops those seats if I need to, so I don’t have to walk around to each door and drop the seat. I’ve been driving it now for a couple days and it gets excellent gas mileage as well. I get around 400 miles to the 16 gallon tank and that’s in LA traffic. Only reason for the four star review is I have gone over a couple speed bumps or dips in the front axle has an awful groaning noise like the suspensions about to give. But after further review, that is a common issue with this car and definitely you should get it under warranty and replaced or fixed before buying if it has not been done!

Love it. Great car. Top of class in 2022. Luxury without the pricetag. SX Prestige has all the bells and whistles. Great value and keeps its value. Compare to Hyundai Palisades, Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, etc.
