About 2022 Aston Martin Vantage
Aston Martin produces vehicles that excel in both luxury and performance. The 2022 Aston Martin Vantage trends towards the latter. It is a taut, dynamic sports car that’s available in coupe and convertible body styles. Both feature Aston’s “swan” door design, by which the doors tilt slightly upward as they open. The current generation of the Vantage was introduced in for the 2019 model year. For 2022, Aston Martin introduces an all-new F1 Edition for both the coupe and convertible. The Vantage is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that is sourced from Mercedes-AMG. It produces 503 horsepower and 505 pound-feet of torque. The new F1 Edition’s V8 is tuned to put out 527 horsepower, and torque remains the same. Both versions have a zero-to-sixty mph time of 3.8 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 195 mph. Power is routed to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine is set far back, and the transmission is mounted at the rear (also called “transaxle”) for optimal weight distribution. The Vantage features an electronically controlled rear differential and offers torque vectoring, which can put more power to the outside wheels in cornering. Later in 2022, Aston Martin is set to unveil a V12 Vantage, which it has offered in past years and past generations. Specs and pricing are not yet available for the V12—all that’s known is that it will be the final V12 Vantage. This potent powertrain returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 24 highway, and 20 combined. Specs and fuel economy for the V12 Vantage have not yet been announced. The Vantage features a modern, high-tech cockpit. Its minimalist controls, digital instrument panel, and touchscreen are all optimized so the driver can focus on the road ahead. Standard features on the Vantage include 20-inch cast wheels, eight-way power-adjustable sport-bucket seats, leather upholstery, micro-mesh headliner, satin graphite interior trim, and a sport steering wheel. The Vantage can be upgraded with a number of options, including 12-way seats, 21-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, upgraded interior materials, and optional aerodynamic exterior performance bits. In addition to its more potent powertrain, the F1 Edition adds an upgraded audio system, Alcantara headliner, carbon fiber interior trim, and carbon ceramic brakes with choice of red or lime green calipers. Base MSRP for the 2022 Aston Martin Vantage is $142,086. The Vantage Roadster starts at $150,086, the F1 Coupe starts at $165,086, and the F1 Roadster starts at $173,086. The Vantage is backed by a three-year/unlimited powertrain warranty.
