How much does the 2021 Lincoln Corsair cost?

Prices have softened 15.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,375 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Lincoln Corsair earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It fits well if you want a compact luxury SUV with a fresh identity, upscale presentation, and a more distinctive domestic option in the segment. The Corsair’s stylish design, premium interior materials, and powerful engine are clear strengths, while the sluggish touchscreen response and the fact that advanced safety features are not standard are the main trade-offs.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 35.2% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corsair’s new platform and refreshed identity help it feel more competitive than Lincoln’s earlier small SUVs, and the expert review highlights a refined, upscale character rather than a compromised entry model. Its standard tech and safety equipment also make it easier to live with day to day.

The 2.0-liter engine is described as fine enough for everyday use, while the available 2.3-liter brings stronger acceleration. Lincoln also notes that the Corsair’s technology is easier to use than that of some import rivals, which can reduce ownership frustration over time.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is choosing a lightly equipped example that feels underwhelming compared with better-specified versions.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Lincoln Corsair?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a vehicle with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, how the touchscreen responds, and whether the safety and convenience features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a power rear liftgate, a 10-speaker premium stereo, dual-zone climate control, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Standard I sub-trim adds ambient cabin lighting, power-folding rear seats, and voice-activated navigation. The Reserve adds 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, a 14-speaker Revel premium stereo system, genuine leather upholstery, a hands-free power liftgate, and a panoramic moonroof. The Grand Touring adds most of the features that are optional on the Standard and Reserve trim, along with the plug-in hybrid powertrain.
• Powertrain: The base 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder makes 250 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the optional 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder makes 295 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Both use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the 2.0-liter is available with FWD or AWD while the 2.3-liter is AWD only. The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid combines a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a CVT, battery power, and a pair of electric motors for a combined 266 hp, 28 miles of pure EV driving, 78 MPGe in electric mode, and 33 mpg combined in hybrid mode.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Lincoln CoPilot360 Plus adds adaptive LED headlights, surround-view parking cameras, front parking sensors, speed-limit sign recognition, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and automatic parking assist. Some of the highest-end safety equipment is tied to higher trims or packages.
• Infotainment: The Corsair uses an 8-inch touchscreen with SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The system is described as easy to use, though the touchscreen response is sluggish. Higher-spec examples can add wireless device charging, a 14-speaker Revel premium audio system, and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The FWD 2.0-liter returns 22 mpg city, 29 highway, and 25 combined. The AWD 2.0-liter returns 21 mpg city, 29 highway, and 24 combined. The AWD 2.3-liter returns 21 mpg city, 28 highway, and 24 combined. The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid is rated at 78 MPGe in electric mode and 33 mpg combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2021 Lincoln Corsair trim should I buy?

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair is offered in 4 trim levels: Standard, Standard I, Reserve, and Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it already gives you a strong equipment list with heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a power rear liftgate. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Corsair, but it can feel a bit underwhelming if you expect a more luxurious experience.
• Standard I: This sub-trim adds ambient cabin lighting, power-folding rear seats, and voice-activated navigation. It’s the better pick if you want a more polished daily driver without jumping all the way to the Reserve.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 14-speaker Revel audio, genuine leather upholstery, a hands-free power liftgate, and a panoramic moonroof. If you want the Corsair to feel properly luxury-grade, this is the trim to target.
• Grand Touring: This is the plug-in hybrid model, and it’s the right choice if you want the added efficiency and the most advanced powertrain in the lineup. It also brings most of the features that are optional on the Standard and Reserve trims.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that the highest-level IIHS recognition applies when equipped with the high-feature headlights in the Reserve II package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Lincoln Corsair?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,375 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,740, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair's resale value?

The current average of $22,740 sits slightly below last year's $26,866.

That decline suggests the Corsair has become more affordable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Trim choice and condition will matter a lot, especially because better-equipped examples are likely to be more desirable on the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Lincoln Corsair safe?

The 2021 Lincoln Corsair is an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick Plus.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Lincoln CoPilot360 Plus adds adaptive LED headlights, surround-view parking cameras, front parking sensors, speed-limit sign recognition, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and automatic parking assist.

The main caveat is that some of the more advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to confirm exactly which package or trim a used example has before you buy.

Should I buy a 2021 Lincoln Corsair or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 adds a range-topping plug-in hybrid and a more competitive, upscale feel.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $21,494, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $22,740 average.
• It emphasizes style and a quiet cabin.

The 2021 is the better all-around pick if you want the broader powertrain lineup, stronger market support, and a more mature product. If your priority is simply spending less, the 2020 can still make sense, but you should be especially careful about condition and ownership history.
