There are 1,257 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — 4.33/5 is a strong user rating for a three-row midsize SUV, and the 2019 Pathfinder’s appeal centers on family use, space, and towing ability. It offers a spacious interior and a comfortable, feature-rich setup for shoppers who want practicality over rugged off-road capability. For buyers who value roominess and useful equipment, that combination makes it a compelling choice. With 31.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 Pathfinder’s broader lineup has been criticized for below-average fuel economy for the class, and some earlier models had CVT concerns, so maintenance history matters. You should pay close attention to service records and how the vehicle behaves on a test drive, especially if you plan to keep it for the long haul. For used buyers, that means the biggest ownership risk is buying a neglected example rather than the model itself.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any Pathfinder you’re serious about and confirm whether prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on maintenance records, drivetrain behavior, and overall condition, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or a spotty service history. If anything feels off during the test drive, move on to a cleaner example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,257 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,489, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $13,489 sits slightly below last year's $15,560.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you’re thinking about future resale. If you buy at a strong price and keep the vehicle in good condition, you’ll be better positioned to preserve value. A clean history and documented maintenance matter more when the market is already pricing in depreciation.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, family-focused three-row SUV with strong value and useful equipment, the 2019 Pathfinder is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 stands out when you want a balance of market pricing, user satisfaction, and practical utility.
