Why it stands out
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a versatile SUV that caters to a broad spectrum of buyers, merging off-road prowess with daily driving comfort. Its standout feature is the combination of multiple engine options, including a potent 707-hp supercharged V8 in the Trackhawk variant, which provides exhilarating performance on-demand. Additionally, its thoughtful interior design offers ample passenger space and cargo room, though some materials fall short of luxury standards. The Grand Cherokee also impresses in tech, featuring a user-friendly infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, potential buyers should be aware of its below-average safety ratings, particularly in rollover resistance and frontal impact tests, which may raise concerns for safety-focused shoppers. Overall, the Grand Cherokee appeals to those seeking a capable, stylish SUV that is adept both on and off the road.
