Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearSaint Petersburg, FL

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 7.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,276 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its luxury, comfort, and strong engine performance, and many also appreciate its safety features and confident driving feel in challenging weather. That fits well if you want a premium SUV with a family-friendly character and a broad mix of comfort and performance. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with owners describing the GLE as reliable and trouble-free in everyday use. That said, some shoppers note heavier feel and the need for premium fuel, so long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on maintenance history and condition. For used buyers, the biggest risk is ending up with a neglected example rather than a fundamentally weak model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

At 62.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle has higher mileage or a complicated option set. Focus your attention on overall condition, because a well-kept example is likely to be a better buy than one with a lower asking price but unclear past repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,276 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,180, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $18,455 sits slightly below last year's $19,893.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and maintain it well, you can help protect its value better than the broader market trend alone would suggest. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support resale more than average-condition listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked luxury SUV with a softer price than last year and enough inventory to compare carefully. If you are price-sensitive, you may want to widen your search to nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
