Used 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports for Sale Nationwide

Every year, Bentley tries to one-up itself by introducing a new Continental model it claims to be the fastest yet. The 2017 Continental Supersports is the latest to join the lineup, boasting the highest top speed and shortest 0-to-60 time of any Bentley at 209 mph and 3.4 seconds. How did Bentley pull off this performance feat? For the 2017 Continental Supersports, it started with the twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that’s been integral to the Continental lineup since its launch back in 2004. Bentley then added larger turbochargers, revised intercoolers, and beefed-up engine internals for an end result of 700 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque. The Continental Supersports makes 67 hp and 130 lb-ft more than the Sport, Bentley’s previous Continental top dog. To handle this additional power, it gains a stronger torque convertor for the 8-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system helps get the power to the road. Bentley has made some tweaks to the Continental Supersports’ chassis. The suspension has been slightly lowered and stiffened to improve overall handling, and a brake-based torque-vectoring system makes for tighter cornering. To offset its significant 5,027-pound weight, the Continental Supersports is equipped with a number of lightweight parts, such as special alloy wheels, a set of carbon-ceramic brakes, and an optional titanium exhaust system. For the exterior, the Continental Supersports boasts a fresh body kit with a carbon-fiber front splitter, side-sill extensions, and a rear diffuser. The various vents and grilles are finished in gloss black, and the headlights and taillights are slightly tinted. For those who want their Continental Supersports to stand out, Bentley will also be offering a convertible version. The convertible is a tick slower than the coupe due to its extra 385 pounds, but it still manages to claim the title of “world’s fastest 4-seat convertible” with a 0-to-60 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. Unsurprisingly, the interior of the Continental Supersports is a treat for the eyes. The cabin features a unique checker-pattern carbon-fiber trim on the dash, drilled aluminum pedals, and a new diamond-quilted design for the seat upholstery. Bentley offers various wood veneers and an endless list of color combinations for the leather and stitching, and if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, Bentley’s Mulliner division will make your wildest dreams come true. Want your Continental Supersports custom finished in bright green with stone veneers for the interior? Mulliner can pull that off. In terms of options, the Continental Supersports will be available with a reversing camera, a Naim audio system, massaging and ventilated seats, and a carbon-fiber engine cover. Bentley will send just 250 Continental Supersports over to the U.S. later this fall, making this a rare bird. As for pricing, the coupe will begin at $293,300 and the convertible will be slightly more expensive, with a price tag of $322,600.
