How much does the 2016 Chrysler 300 cost?

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, comfort, and powerful performance, and they also like the luxury feel and features you get for the price. For you, that makes this a strong fit if you want a roomy, comfortable full-size sedan with a traditional look and a substantial driving feel. With 26.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a reputation for durability, along with dependable everyday comfort and strong performance. At the same time, some owners mention higher maintenance costs and minor quality issues, so a well-kept example matters more than a neglected one. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you verify service history and avoid cars with signs of deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Chrysler 300?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past collision or suspension issues. It also makes sense to focus on maintenance records and overall condition, because neglected examples can be more expensive to own.

What is the 2016 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $12,470 sits slightly below last year's $12,777.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than just model-year appeal. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a market where buyers can compare plenty of similar listings.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,859, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $12,470 average.
• It adds fresh appearance packages and a faster Uconnect system.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2016 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer-feeling cabin experience and updated styling touches, the 2017 is the better secondary path.
